It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin James Bratton of Montgomery, Alabama, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Melba Ruth Rakestraw Bratton; his grandparents, Arnold and Bessie Mae Rakestraw; and his uncle Hansel Rakestraw. He is survived by: his brothers, Johnny Powell (Nancy), Charles Powell (Ann), Mark Powell (Lousie) and David Bratton (Paula); and his nephews, Neal, Brian, Jason and James Powell.
