She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Robert Andrew Reid, Jr. (Mary), William Daniel Reid, April Nelson Reid, Santa Rosa Beach and Leslie Ann Reid Wells (Thomas); and her parents, William Stanley Nelson and Cora Mae Hardin Nelson. She was also cherished by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
