He was predeceased by: his wife Carol. He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Smith Foshee (Mark); his grandchildren, Morgan Foshee Barnes (Taylor) and Kendall Foshee Williams (Brady); his son Doug Smith (Sharla); his grandchildren, Rachael Smith, Austin Smith (Maisie), Adam Smith (Taegen) and Lily Smith Larson (Brock); and his great grandchildren, Brodie Barnes and Kohen Smith.
