He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Dales and Betsy Martin Dales; his wife Betty G. Marshall; and his children, Dee Dales, Dale (Lisa Dales), Art (Debrah Dales), Doug Dales and David Dales (Amanda). He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
