He is survived by: his wife Lois J. Brown; his daughters, Janice Avery (Kenneth) and Teri Brown; his brother Ed Brown (late Nancy); his grandchildren, Dr. Nakeshia Hunter (Marques), Dr. Kevin Brown, Dr. Reginald Avery, Dr. Jeffrey Avery (Amber) and Dr. Ashley Brown; his great grandchild Marleigh Avery; and his nieces and nephews, Faye Golson, Rose Morgan, Ed Brown, Jr. and Eric Brown.
