She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Young, Sr. and Emma Traylor Young; her husband Wesley Ashley, Sr.; and her sister Fannie Young. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Sr. (Zestlan), Richard (Cindy), John Sr., Alan and Joan Ashley Russaw (Sean); and her brothers-in-law, John Henry Ashley and Samuel Ashley (Mamie). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
