He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Eugene Owens and Josephine Crosby Owens; his brother Larry Dean Owens; and his grandson Chase Anthony Pollard. He is survived by: his wife Mary Elaine Owens; his daughters, Stacey Owens Lowman and Kelly Owens Singleton (David); his grandchildren, Kayla Michele Frederick and Hunter Austin Lowman; and his great grandchildren, Graysan Frederick, Brinley Frederick, Knox Frederick, Oliver Lowman, Sophie Pollard and Jovie Pollard. He is also survived by five nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Leak Memory Chapel (945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, AL 36109). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
