James Kemp Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Kemp of Montgomery, Alabama, who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Kemp; and his parents, Tura Kemp and Elbert Lee Kemp. He is survived by: his daughter Janet Mangus (Gary) of Montgomery, AL; his grandchildren, Rebecca Mangus Gerity (James) of Independence, KY and James Michael Mangus of San Francisco, CA; and his great grandchildren, Lucas Mangus and Grayson Gerity.
The family request the omission of flowers, and ask those wishing to make memorials, do so to the Zion Chapel Baptist Church cemetery fund, c/o Zion Chapel Baptist Church, 27057 Hwy 87, Elba, Alabama 36323, and be sure to reference "cemetery fund donation" in the memo for the Kemp family.
