He is survived by: his wife Erma Jean Wilson Bates; his daughter Janese R. Burge (Legand); his grandson Louis Lee Burge; his sister-in-law Catherine Wilson Hamilton; his niece Catherine Hamilton Washington; his great-nephew Keith Antonio Washington; and his great-niece Jasmine Washington.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Johns AME Church (807 Madison Ave, Montgomery, AL 36104).
