With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Herb Reed of Montgomery, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Evan Reed and Gertie Reed; his former wife Carol Reed; his son Darren Reed; and his brothers, W. E. Reed (Speed) and Donald Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Garland (Tim) and David Reed (Katherine); his daughter-in-law Susan Thompson Reed; his grandchildren, Garrett Reed, Cooper Reed, Michael Garland (Katie), Brian Garland (Betty) and Laura Hudgins (Anthony); his great grandchildren, James Garland, Colin Garland, Mason Garland, Brayden Garland, Syahni Garland, Nash Garland, Asher Hudgins and River Hudgins; his wife Sally Hubbard Reed; his stepchildren, Kenny Hubbard (Renee) and Freda Hubbard Roberts (Dee); his grandchildren, Danial Hubbard, David Hubbard and Sarah Pittard; and his great grandchild Jones Hubbard.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Leak Memory Chapel (945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, AL 36109). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
