He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Ann Barrow Shaw; and his parents, Carl S. Shaw, Jr. and Mildred Dixon Shaw. He is survived by: his children, Courtney, Michael McGough and Kenneth Shaw; and his siblings, Larry Shaw, Terry Patko, Sherri Dollar and Amy Reagan.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to a local music program of the donor's choosing.
