He was predeceased by: his parents, Otho Theodore Hicks and Willie Mae Hicks; and his brother Bill G. Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Pemberton Hicks (Nita) of Lake Martin; his sons, Clay Hicks (Ronda) of Pelham and Patrick Hicks (Stephanie) of Milton, GA; and his grandchildren, Karsten Hicks, Blake Hicks and Madeline Hicks.
