He is survived by: his wife Theda Windham Mims; his daughters, Angelia Mims Bowen (Gary) and Ashley Mims Hughes (Jay); and his grandchildren, Patrick Mims Bowen, Cassidy Lynn Bowen, Sean Harris Bowen and Natalie Erin Hughes.
