She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Gray Gibson Sr.; her daughter Melissa Gayle McQueen (George McQueen JR.); and her parents, Herman Broadway and Annie "Uchie" Broadway. She is survived by: her children, Conrad Missildine (Cheryl Missildine), Felicia Bryant and Henry "Billy" Gibson Jr. (Connie Gibson); and her grandchildren, Jessica Spurlin (Mark Spurlin), Laura Ashley (Josh Rainey), Mitchell Haubert (Amy Haubert), Cate Miller (Brian Miller), Amanda McQueen, Shayna McQueen, MyCala McQueen, Brandon Bird, Dakota Gibson (Courtney Gibson) and Cheyenne Langner (Kevin Langner).
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mt Zion Baptist Church (3828 Mt Zion Rd, Ramer, AL 36069). A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
