He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Snyder; his sons, Chris Barker (Jennifer) of Alabaster and Will Snyder of Birmingham; his grandson Lucas Barker; his sister Cindy Snyder McCollum (JC); his niece Courtney McCollum Culbreth (Harrison); his nephew Connor McCollum; his great-nephew Ace Culbreth; his mother-in-law Judy Dempsey; and his brother-in-law Jay Dempsey. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles.
