He was predeceased by: his parents, William P. Ivey and Wilda Martin Ivey; his wife Sylvia Chapman Ivey; and his daughter Tanya Elizabeth Burns. He is survived by: his daughters, Tara Kennedy (Jason) and Teresa Lyons; and his grandchildren, James Kennedy, Jonathon Kennedy, Lacey Lyons and William Lyons (Samantha). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
