He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Douglas Abel and Shirley Jean Richards Abel. He is survived by: his son Brandyn Scott Abel; his close friends, Sandra Abel-Robertson and Nate Robertson; his friends, Kerry Brenneman and David Grogg (Shirley); and his niece Isabella. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
