She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Hobison Ladd, Sr. and Annie Ethel Ladd (Martin); her husband Richard Benjamin Glascoe; her son Richard Scott Glascoe; her siblings, Ernest Ladd, Howard Ladd, Billy Joe Ladd, Sidney Ladd, Jr. and Annie Lois Skinner (Ladd); and her siblings-in-law, Carroll Glascoe and Janet Glascoe.
She is survived by: her daughter Candice Leigh Higdon (Allen) of Montevallo; her sister Blonzell Brown (Ladd) of Decatur; her siblings-in-law, Harold Glascoe of Flowood, Delores Dell Ladd (French) of Brandon and Ivanna Glascoe of Norfolk; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Erin Leigh Higdon, James Caleb Higdon and Sydney Elise Higdon.
A committal service was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115).
