He is survived by: his wife Barbara Caroline Peck Thompson; and his children, Larry Thompson (Machelle), Suzi Stephens (Robbie), Chris Thompson (Liz) and Ronna Sanford.
A committal service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:15 AM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115).
