Mary Louise Batte Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Louise Batte of Montevallo, Alabama, who passed away on January 24, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Louise Batte to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Hosmer and Byrdie Stewart Hosmer; her husband Ronald "Ron" Dennis Batte; and her brother Harold Franks. She is survived by: her children, Karen Renee Beane (Ed), Steven H. Batte (Susie) and Edward A. Batte (Gwen Price); and her grandchildren, Jennifer Blankenship (Luke), Bobby Beane (Sherri), Donnie Beane (Christy), Robin Massey (Adam), Ashley McCoy, Megan Cigelske and Aaron Batte (Megan). She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Providence Baptist Church (190 Co Rd 46, Montevallo, AL 35115). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115).
