He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Bentley and Dora Bentley; his children, Ronald K. Tubbs, Sr., Rickey Bentley and Maria Bentley; his former wives, Minnie Curry Bentley and Annie Porterfield Bentley; and his siblings, Thomas Bentley, Alice Bentley Kennedy, John Bentley, Dorothy Bentley Maul, Julius Bentley, Evelyn Bentley Wilson, Hattie Bentley and James Bentley.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky and Jacqueline Tubbs Harvey of Lawrenceville, Georgia; his wife Sarah L. Bentley; and his sons, Harry Bentley, Jr. (Jeanette) of Birmingham and Carnovsky Bentley (Kathy) of Gadsden, Alabama. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; two brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
