She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Sawyer; her parents, Willie Lee and Lillie Mae Montgomery; and her siblings, Juanita Gaiters, Arthur Lee, Gregory, Willie James and Brownell Montgomery.
She is survived by: her children, Kedron Montgomery (Tiara), Sheri Green (Patrick), Emerson Dukes (LaToya), Julia Welch (Maurice), Valeria Hale (Demetrius) and Kenya Woods; her grandchildren, Patrick, Malik, Jayla, Timothy, Nia, Rashad, Jeremiah, Emerald and Emerson; and her siblings, Dorothy, Janis, Bishop Larry, Roary, Rocky, Ernest and John Montgomery. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers in law, extended family, and friends.
