He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Lunceford Layton; and his parents, Clyde Layton and Estelle Layton. He is survived by: his children, Lonnie Layton (Carla), Tommy Layton, Tammy Stansell (Ben) and Dana Boykin; his grandchildren, Zac Stansell (Jessica), Taylor Layton, Kylie Roy (Dale), Ashlyn MacQueen (Ian), Levi Layton, Max Waldrop, Micah Layton, Landon Waldrop (Angel), Peyton Boykin and Macie Boykin; his great grandchildren, Leo Stansell, Evie MacQueen, Riggs Roy and Nolan Stansell; and his brother Terry Layton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
