She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Smith and Claudia McCombs Smith; her husband Roy Allen Smith; her daughters, Mildred Ann Grissett and Elizabeth Ann Smith; and her granddaughter Jennifer Lynn Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughter Ruby Jean Norwood (Thomas Norwood) of Excel, AL. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
