She is survived by: her adoptive son Mose Arthur Andrews; her husband Willie Lee Banks; her children, Willie Clifford and Dorothy; her grandson Herman Lee Banks Jr.; her daughter-in-law Gloria Jean Banks; her brothers, Dempsey and Clyde; her children, Herman, Sr., Earnest, Thelma (Robert Richardson), Calvin (LaTonia), Theodore (Pamela), Jimy Banks (Tekeisha) and Marshall English (Annie Mae); her grandchildren, Zondra Tiffany (James Dickerson), LaKea Theodore Tremaine (Scottie English, Jr.) and Jimmy D. (Jasmine); her great grandchildren, Zoey Banks, Chris Roy, Jr., Harmony English, Natalie English and Keyon Tolbert; her sister-in-law Gladys Dean Bowie; and her adoptive son George Nicholson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, several sisters-in-law that she was especially fond of, brothers-in-law, other loved relatives and many friends.
