She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony DeWayne Kervin; her parents, Floyd Silcox and Nannie Silcox; her daughters, Kathy Reid and Peggy Owens; her granddaughter April Owens; and her siblings, Bartoe Silcox, Earsle Silcox, Nadine Booker, Gloria Solomon and Bernice Ward.
She is survived by: her daughter Cherry Hurry; her sister Kathleen Silcox Ledkins (Ralph Ledkins); and her grandchildren, Christie Stacey, Tiffany Riley, Robyn Shorter, Leslie Riley, Andre Moore, Alexandria Moore, Christian Smith and Jordan Smith. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
