It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lavera Choate of Monroeville, Alabama, born in Prattville, Alabama, who passed away on December 26, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. William "Bill" Choate; her parents, Joseph Northington and Rosa Northington; and her siblings, Crawford Northington, Joe Alva Northington, William E. Northington and Elizabeth N. Johnson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
