He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry M. Roberts, II and Faye Benton Roberts; and his son Harry M. Roberts, IV. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl A. Roberts of Monroeville, AL; his son Kenneth Roberts (Melissa) of Columbus, OH; his stepchildren, John Taylor of Petal, MS and Jennifer Taylor-Guy of Mobile, AL; and his siblings, Samuel Benton Roberts of Columbiana, AL and Sally Sue Roberts Webb of Gainesville, GA. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
