He is survived by: his parents, George Hunter and Gwendolyn Kirkland; his brother Jonathan Kirkland (Katie) of Pascagoula, Mississippi; and his grandmother Barbara Bradley of Monroeville, AL. He is also survived by cousins, uncles, aunts and friends.
