She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Nesbitt; and her parents, Bennett Morgan Brantley and Anne April Harris. She is survived by: her children, Monica Douglas (Patrick) and Jason Moore (Meg); her grandchildren, Caroline, Emily Douglas, Marlee and Tait Moore; her brother Lindsey Brantley (Michele); her niece Lee Anne Brantley; and her nephew Bennett Brantley.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to American Heart Association.
