He was predeceased by: his wife Blanca Lydia Downing Buswell; his son Buster Buswell; his grandson Timothy Buswell; and his parents, William Farmer Buswell and Myrtle White.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Buswell of Lafayette, Marlane Buswell of Monroeville, AL, Kathy Buswell Selman (Cesar) of Crystal River, FL and Monica Buswell Trahan (Russell) of Broussard. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
