It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dimple Davis of Monroeville, Alabama, born in Rutledge, Alabama, who passed away on April 3, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hillard Lee Whittington and Dolly Burgans Whittington; her children, Gwen Davis and Jeffery Davis; and her brothers, Joe Douglas Whittington and Michael Whittington.
She is survived by: her daughters, Glenda Dawsey of Brewton, Beverly Forehand of Denver, CO, Melba Rowell of Monroeville and Cindy Smith of Uriah; and her siblings, Tommy Whittington of Brazoria, TX, Barbara Spears of Monroeville, Peggy Browning of Monroeville, Aniece Owens of Luverne and Shelia Strother of Brazoria, TX. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
