He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Colbert and Lillian Colbert; and his siblings, Trudy DeWise, Leon Colbert and Billy Ray Colbert.
He is survived by: his wife Glennie Stinson Colbert; his children, Shannon Colbert, Lynn Colbert, Gordon Colbert, Melissa Colbert, Charlotte Rutherford and Steve Rutherford; and his sister Linda. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
