He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Boatwright Stabler; his children, Charles Stabler (Angel) of Excel, Mitzi Gregory (Myron) of Whatley, Samantha Bingham (Andy) of Fortson and Candice Stabler of Monroeville; his grandchildren, Jacob Gregory of Whatley, Samuel Gregory of Whatley, Huckabee Stabler of Excel, Austin Stabler of Excel and Brooke Jackson of Excel; his sisters, Jennie Moody, Judy Wilson and Margaret Chunn (James); and his siblings-in-law, Bobbie Stabler and B. B. Palmer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Monroe Chapel Funeral Home (2252 US-84, Frisco City, AL 36445). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
