He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Howell; his sister Shannon Thomaston; and his parents, William C. Howell and Gertrude Howell. He is survived by: his children, Roger Howell (Pattie), Rita Fox and Sheila Herring; his grandchildren, Jason Howell (Rachel), Jarrod Howell (Carolyn), Alex Herring (Kassie), Leah Fox and Zachary Fox; and his sister Phyllis Sumlin.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (6040 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
