He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eual McDaniel and Hattie Vern McDaniel; his wife Sue Ellison of Rosinton, AL; his children, Shelbie Owens (Darren) and Dusty McDaniel (Jan); his sisters, Carolyn Durden (Rickey) and Darlene Smith (Russell); his grandchildren, Noah and Kate McDaniel; and his friend Eric Hallberg. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
