With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne F. Sherman of Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on December 19, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Sherman and Josephine Sherman (McBride); his wife Mary Sherman of Mary's Church; his sister Mary Sherman; and his brothers-in-law, Marv Dalsing and John Hipschen.
He is survived by: his children, Miki Sears (Donald) of Andalusia, AL, Susan Salter (Edward "Vinny") of Mobile, AL, Patrick Sherman (Darci) of LeClaire, IA and Daniel Sherman (Dawn) of East Moline, IL; his grandchildren, Dylan, Hanna Sears, Kyle Salter, Zachary, Blake and Grace Sherman; his great grandchild Xander; his sister Joann Dalsing of Dubuque, IA; and his sister-in-law June Hipschen of Redwood City, CA.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Behr Funeral Home (1491 Main St, Dubuque, IA 52001). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (1425 Iowa St, Dubuque, IA 52001).
