He was predeceased by: his wife Alice E. Lewis; his parents, Myrtle V. Lewis and Rev. John I. Lewis Sr.; and his siblings, Rev. Linwood A. Lewis (Phyllis), John I. Lewis Jr. (Fern) and Lorraine Brown (Perry).
He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Rebecca Pledger (Milton), Elizabeth Caleo (Jon) and Kristen Marvin; his grandchildren, Eternity, Serenity, Ambrosia, Caroline, Carleigh, Abigail, Ian and Erica; his great grandchildren, Alice and Brantley; and his sisters, Marlene Walsingham (Harlan), Nelda Brown, Nina Newman (Lamar), Linda Vaughn, Myrtle "Tiny" Steele (Duval), Harriett Simmons (Lamar) and Debbie Barbour (Tony). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
