It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Edward Nelson (Mobile, Alabama), who passed away on January 19, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Nelson and Emma Nelson (Gable); and his brothers, Alfred Lucious and Steve Nelson. He is survived by: his siblings, J. Lebaron Nelson (Wanda), Brenda Spencer (Greg), Bessie Grayson (Spencer) and Cathy Walter (Vincent); his children, Rochelle Nelson, Jenine Gray (Dorothy Douglas) and Chelsea Nelson (Sylvia Hopper); his grandchildren, Requel Pate, Raeon Nelson, Donje Gray and Ayden White; and his children, Jaivon, Jaikwon Captain, Donje Gray, Jaishon Captain, Jaylee, Juluis Nelson of Aniyah White, Mi, Quel Pate, Rae'onna Nelson and Ayden White. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
