He was predeceased by: his son Lebaron Packer. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Packer; his children, Tawanna Packer and Lesell Packer (Kessa); his stepdaughter Tina James (Cedric); his sisters, Gennetta Jones, Gustavia Packer and Deborah Packer Robinson (Timothy); his caregiver Charles Packer; his nieces and nephews, Katelyn Simone Rice, Chauncey Maxwell Rice, Chandler Marcellus Rice, Roderick Jones and Andrew Jones; and his friend Jerome Pickett. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the God's Grace Church of God in Christ (2806 Esas Ave, Mobile, Alabama 36617). A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery (34904 AL-225, Spanish Fort, AL 36577).
