Sherry Ann Sylvester Obituary
The memory of Sherry Ann Sylvester of Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on January 25, 2025 at the age of 62, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Myra Lee Cooley and Johnny Sylvester; and her siblings, Mary Helen, Will Cooley, Deborah Bumpers (Nelson) and Melvin Sylvester.
She is survived by: her daughters, Latia Lynaum (Carl) and Charlena K. Sylvester (Brandon Green); her grandchildren, Diamond Green, Brandon Green and Addison Lynaum; her siblings, Freddie Sylvester (Barbara), Elmira Harris (Larry), Mary Sylvester, John Sylvester (Amy) and Mattie Williams (Robert); and her friend Cedric Bridges. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lovett's Funeral Chapel (404 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Ave, Mobile, AL 36603). A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Gethsemane Cemetery (800 Mobile St, Mobile, AL 36617).
Sherry gave her life to Christ at an early age and later re-dedicated herself under the leadership of Apostle Lebarron Cox at Solid Foundation Ministries.
