Sadie Valerie Willingham Obituary

Mrs. Sadie Hayes Willingham, went to be with the Lord on January 1st, 2022 at the age of 94.

She was born in Cayman Brac of the Cayman Islands & came to the United States at the age of 16 & has been a long time resident in Mobile AL.

Sadie was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon Hayes and Leila Hayes, her husband of 59 years, Jay Wylie Willingham, son, Larry Willingham and sister, Avril Camp.

Sadie is survived by her daughter, Connie Stauter and three grandchildren, Lisa Stauter, Douglas Stauter and (TJ) Thomas Willingham.

Sadie retired after many years of working for Dravo Corp. formerly Southern Industries.

Sadie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She made an impact on everyone who knew her and was a very special lady.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, January 7th, 2022 at 2pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens on Three Notch Road.

Family and guests who will be attending the graveside service are requested to meet in the parking lot at 1:45pm to be escorted to the graveside.

The family would like to thank the staff of Summer House (Elmcroft) for her care.
