We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2025, at the age of 84, Ruby Lakeman of Mobile, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William Paul Lakeman Sr.; and her son Donald Eugene Lakeman. She is survived by: her children, Bill Lakeman, Robert Lakeman (Sandra), Kenneth Lakeman (Karen), Paula Lakeman, BlackJack and Pumpkin; and her grandchildren, Shanna Williams (Chris), Kimberly Hardee (Justin), Kenneth Matthew Lakeman, Tyler Lakeman (Jesse Shoultz), Donald Paul Lakeman (Cassie) and Rebecca Lakeman. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens (6100 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619).
