He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Cheryl Shelley, David McNew (Nikki) and Amy Stockert (Joe); his grandchildren, Ben Shelley (Haley), Paul Shelley, Grant McNew, Kyle McNew (Kaitlyn), Jake Stockert and Anna Stockert; and his great grandchildren, Finley Shelley and Isabella McNew.

In remembrance of Bob's life, the family kindly asks that any charitable donations be made to the UAB Comprehensive Transplant Institute-Patient Assistance Fund in Birmingham, Alabama.
