He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev Deacon James C and Maxine Moody Burns; and his sister Linda Faye Calhoun (Calvin). He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Ruth Dycus Burns; his children, Brandon Alan Burns and Megan Suzanne Burns; his grandson Wyatt James Burns; and his siblings, Eddie, Billy, David Burns, Betty Sue Burns Mayes of Mobile, Cheryl Ann Pierce (Joe) of Mobile and Dianne Ewing (Dan) of Mobile.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St Pius X Church.
