We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2025, at the age of 84, Richard McDonald of Mobile, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Richard find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his wife Iva Fay McDonald; his mother Vaida Phar McDonald; his daughter Karen McDonald Howard; and his siblings, James McDonald, Aubrey McDonald, Wilber McDonald, Thelma McDonald Coggins and Cheralyn McDonald Bolen.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Connie Lewis McCaskill (Ron) and Mark Lewis (Susan); and his children, Tara McDonald Hinton (David) and Ricky McDonald (Ashley). He is also survived by many grand children and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (6040 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
