She is survived by: her children, Gary Carter (Tara) of Huntsville, Gwenita Carter (Antonio) and Kenneth Carter Sr. of Mobile; her grandchildren, Tai Cruz, Bre Overton Spencer-Carter of Huntsville, Tia Carter of Phoenix, AZ, Breana Richardson (Anthony) of Mobile, Leticea Scott of Bremerton, Tavares Ferguson (Zabrina) of Houston, Kenneth Carter Jr. (Kenya) of Mobile, Kylvin Carter of Mobile, Desiree Westry of Mobile, Micheal Carter of Mobile, Kennedy Carter of Mobile and Jaleia Foxx of Mobile; her sisters, Gussie Carter and Charletta Kyser of Mobile; her sister-in-law Alfoundra Carter; her cousin Violet of Washington; her nieces and nephews, Betty Pugh, Thomas Carter, Gary Carter, Deborah Carter, Cedric Carter, Chandra Carter, Jameyle Roberts, Sherrill Carter, Tanita Kyser and Laura Ahmad; her sister Patricia Ann Carter-Sellers; and her friends, Sara Howard, Daisy Montgomery, Josephine Childs and Patricia Mickles.
