He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Gibson Johnston; his brother James B. Johnston; and his sister-in-law Phyllis L. Johnston. He is survived by: his sons, Stephen G. Johnston (Carol) and David B. Johnston; and his grandchildren, Jason C. Johnston (Amanda) and Alice J. Parker (Justin).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pine Crest Funeral Home (1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Mobile, AL 36605). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at the Pine Crest Cemetery (1599 Snow Rd, Mobile, AL 36695).
