It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pauline Blackwell Strickland of Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Pauline Blackwell departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Pauline Blackwell may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Pauline Blackwell leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sallie Blackwell and Forney Blackwell. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Blan (Jim) of Daphne, Craig Strickland (Kim) of Petal, MS and Kim Goodnight (Robert) of Wilmington, NC; and her partner Woody Strickland of Mobile. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home (27409 US-98, Daphne, AL 36526).
