We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2024, at the age of 94, Norma Wood (Mobile, Alabama), born in Louisville, Kentucky passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Norma Wood to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Raymond Spink and Willie Brown; and her brother Bill Spink. She is survived by: her husband Richard Leo Wood; her children, Frank Duane Wood (Melissa) and Misty Anne Wood-Lively; her grandchildren, Elise Bishop, Evan Wood (Rikki), Bethany Bishop (Daniel Willings), Blake Wood (Emmett), Jeremiah Bishop, Collin Wood, Mackenzi Wood, Kyle Hardin and Kayla Hardin; and her great grandchildren, Nora Willings, Finley Willings, Kirstin Bishop-McDaniel and Atlas Bishop-McDaniel.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (6040 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Dominic Catholic Church (4156 Burma Rd, Mobile, AL 36693).
In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations to be made to Little Sisters of the Poor. St. Jude Children's Hospital, or Alzheimer's and Dementia Research.
