She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Raymond Spink and Willie Brown; and her brother Bill Spink. She is survived by: her husband Richard Leo Wood; her children, Frank Duane Wood (Melissa) and Misty Anne Wood-Lively; her grandchildren, Elise Bishop, Evan Wood (Rikki), Bethany Bishop (Daniel Willings), Blake Wood (Emmett), Jeremiah Bishop, Collin Wood, Mackenzi Wood, Kyle Hardin and Kayla Hardin; and her great grandchildren, Nora Willings, Finley Willings, Kirstin Bishop-McDaniel and Atlas Bishop-McDaniel.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations to be made to Little Sisters of the Poor. St. Jude Children's Hospital, or Alzheimer's and Dementia Research.
